Annual Support

The First Families of Hebrew Health Care

Members of the First Families of Hebrew Health Care help support many of the day-to-day initiatives, from specialized life enrichment programs to spiritual care, all of which enhance the quality of life for thousands of patients, residents and their families.

Hebrew Health Care is not reimbursed through governmental or other third party payers for many of the services and programs that we consider meaningful, so we rely on your annual membership in First Families to continue them. Please take a moment to review some of the programs and services that your donation supports and consider how these programs add quality and meaning to the lives of the older adults who look to us for care.

  • The seamstress who mends clothing so every resident can maintain the same level of dignity that you or I would expect;
  • "as desired" rehabilitation services so that residents may exercise whenever they wish with staff supervision, even when Medicare does not recognize this as a reimbursable service;
  • specialized life enrichment programs which go far beyond bingo and birthday parties--and which respect the many interests of the individuals who live here: Horticulture Therapy ; Therapeutic Music and Dance offerings; Art Programs, Pet Therapy, Cooking Group, Laughter Club, and computer training to name a few; and
  • Pastoral Care and spiritual counseling for all residents, Jewish and non-Jewish.

Please select a level of support that is comfortable for you. Every gift is appreciated and every gift truly makes a difference. If you would like to talk to someone personally about your donation, please call Madelene Francese, Vice President for Development, at 860.523.3994 or via e-mail at .
