Hospice Volunteers

Hospice Volunteers provide comfort, compassion and support to patients and families in a variety of ways. Volunteers lend a listening ear to patients, provide a break to caregivers, help with errands, comfort the bereaved, or simply hold a hand. Most of all, our volunteers help our patients live each day fully. Hospice Volunteers assist with many aspects related to end of life support including: Music or Art Therapy, Energy Medicine, Life Reviews, Pet Therapy, Companionship and Respite. Additional duties can include office and group support.

All Hospice Volunteers receive initial and ongoing training. For more information, or to inquire about volunteer training, please contact Jill Levin, Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, at (860) 523-3888, or email or click here to print our application.
