Catherine Politis Collette, Agency Administrator
Catherine (Kate) is responsible for the care delivery of our hospice program. She has worked to develop and implement policies and procedures to assure the best quality of care for hospice patients and their families. She has worked to pull together a group of dedicated professionals to be part of the hospice team who are committed to the mission and vision of the organization and hospice. Kate works closely with the home health administrator to strategically plan for the ongoing development of services and the program.
Kate joined Hebrew Health Care in January of 2009 to start the hospice initiative. She has dedicated her career to hospice and has worked in the field in a variety of capacities since 1994. Kate received her Bachelors Degree from Saint Joseph College in 1995 and her Masters from University of Hartford in 2007. She has held certification in Hospice and Palliative Care since 2000. She is active in the Connecticut Association for Home Care and Hospice and is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care committee and is Chair of the Hospice Directors Special Interest Group.
Christine Waldie, Director, Hebrew Health Hospice
Christine Waldie is responsible for ensuring that the Home Health Agency meets the needs of its members by ensuring the delivery of high quality services. She assisted in the development of the Hospice program, and provides oversight to existing programs by implementing ongoing improvements in Home Health Agency services.
Mrs. Waldie joined Hebrew Health Care as an Assistant Staffing Coordinator in 1996. While in this position, she attended St. Joseph's College to obtain her RN, BSN and became a nurse at Hebrew Health Care in 2004. She was a nurse on our Rehabilitation unit, Hospital unit and was an assistant supervisor on the weekend. She then became the Nurse Manager for the Hospital at Hebrew Health Care.
Mrs. Waldie has a Masters of Nursing in Management from Regis University of Colorado, and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society.
