The Auxiliary of Hebrew Health Care Introduces The “New and Improved” Main Street Café
The Auxiliary of Hebrew Health Care, in conjunction with The Morrison Group proudly introduces the new and improved Main Street Café. The Auxiliary raised funds to renovate the space, turning it into an inviting and chic luncheonette. The Morrison Group, Hebrew Health Care’s food services provider has assumed responsibility of oversight of the shop, bringing in a new and exciting menu.
While The Morrison Group assumes a leadership role in the day to day operations of the café, all proceeds will go to the Auxiliary to continue to benefit the residents of The Gene and Anja Rosenberg Hebrew Home and Rehabilitation Center. Open to the public, café hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The new menu offers a variety of ‘grab and go’ items of delectable salads and sandwiches, Seattle’s Best coffees, soups of the day and themed sandwiches named after donors including the Marc Abrahms Tuna Melt, King Richard and Princess Lea Sandwiches, and Aunt Ester’s Going Hiking (peanut and banana) Sandwich. A variety of dairy pizza offerings, with future naming opportunities, will also be on the menu. For more information about joining The Auxiliary of Hebrew Health Care, or to inquire about naming a sandwich or pizza, please contact Brenda McVerry at 860.523.3829.
