Pamela K. Atwood, Director of Life Enrichment and Dementia Care

Pamela Atwood has worked with older adults professionally for more than 20 years. Ms. Atwood joined Hebrew Home and Rehabilitation Center in 2002, and now runs the highly regarded dementia care program for Hebrew Health Care and our Life Enrichment Department for Hebrew Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Before joining Hebrew Health Care Ms. Atwood was the Director of Programs for the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association where she created education and support programs for people affected by dementia. She has done extensive public speaking on various topics related to aging, humor, and dementia. She also hosts a monthly cable TV program called, "For Health, For Life" and is a regular guest on WTIC AM 1080’s "Living Well CT" program. Ms. Atwood also teaches as adjunct faculty at the Institute for Gerontology at Saint Joseph College.

Ms. Atwood earned a Master's Degree in Gerontology and Human Development from Saint Joseph College.
