HR GENERALIST

Schedule

Full Time 40 hours/week

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

Performs various Human Resources functions with special emphasis in the areas of recruiting/interviewing. Full cycle recruiting for licensed/ unlicensed staff. Answer phones, admin support, meet and greet employees, new hire orientation, answers EE questions accurately and promptly, handles all leaves of absence, (FMLA), handles all worker’s comp processes, salary surveys, benefits, retirement questions, and pension questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience required.
• One year of recruiting experience required.  Health Care recruitment experience preferred.
• Flexibility; ability to work with minimum supervision and to exercise sound independent judgment.
• Excellent phone skills; ability to relate to people with courtesy and tact.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to manage time efficiently and to set appropriate priorities.
• Ability to use office equipment including MS Word/Excel, FAX, laser printer, copier, and multi-line phone.
• Ability to research via internet and other sources to obtain required information.
