Connecticut Geriatric Specialty Group (CGSG)
According to the Alzheimer's Association, 7.3% of people aged 45 and older in Connecticut have subjective cognitive decline while 77,000 people age 65 and older are already living with cognitive impairment. Since Connecticut is the 6th oldest state demographically in the country, it is not surprising that it could take several months to get an appointment for a memory screen.
Connecticut Geriatric Specialty Group (CGSG) is a hospital-based outpatient physician practice specializing in geriatric assessments. CGSG is led by Dr. Ava Pannullo; a board-certified geriatrician with more than 35 years experience serving seniors. CGSG also includes an APRN, Heidi Haller, whose primary area of interest is geriatric medicine. The CGSG team emphasizes patient convenience and collaboration with the patients' existing specialists and primary care provider.
CGSG is conveniently located on 1 Abrahms Boulevard in West Hartford, Connecticut with easily accessible, free parking right outside the facility. CGSG is open from 8:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information about CGSG or to schedule an appointment for an assessment please call Starr Floyd at 860-523-3801.
